Delta Pledges
All students in Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 have received assembles about the Hanson Pledges. These pledges encourage and motivate students to develop themselves personally and gain rounded experiences both in and out of the Academy.
These pledges provide students with the chance to make themselves ‘stand out’ and develop life skills that will benefit them in the future. These types of experiences can prove invaluable when applying for 6th form, jobs, university, college and apprenticeships when they get older. When a pledge is gained, a member of staff will sign their record or achievement on page 35 of their planner and form tutors will track their progress. Students will receive incentives and rewards for achieving as many pledges as they can.
