The School Immunisation team promotes and delivers immunisations in 43 secondary schools and 173 primary schools along with children and young people that are home tutored or in alternative provisions across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.

The team aims to increase how many children are vaccinated against a range of illnesses through health-promotion activities as well as planned sessions in schools and community-based clinics. Home visits are also carried out for children who may have additional needs or requirements, and who may need to be in more familiar surroundings. Some of these children may also be very anxious.

The Bradford School Immunisation team consists of clinical and administrative staff working together to deliver a high-quality service.
