World Culture Day 2024

A big well done to all Y8 students who took part in this year’s World Culture Day. They got to experience and learn about all the different cultures of the students at Hanson. They learnt about each culture’s food, flags, traditions, religions and dress.  They will now spend some time with their form tutors reflecting on this experience and write a report about what they have learnt.  This will help them gain Pledge 7, ‘Be actively involved in an International Experience’.  A massive well done to the 6^th form students who hosted the event, from planning the stalls, cooking the food, showing off their amazing cultural clothes and sharing their cultures with the rest of school.  It was an amazing event!
