Daniel Yates

Daniel started his Hanson journey as a NQT PE Teacher in 2009, moving towards whole school leadership after 4 years in varying roles in both Pastoral and Teaching and Learning. Over the last 10 years he has supported and led Teaching and Learning, ensuring engaging lessons have a positive impact for all students. Daniel worked closely with numerous teacher training providers across the North West and West Yorkshire to create a supportive climate for those colleagues who are training and new to teaching. This provided an exciting learning environment in which both the staff and students felt confident to take risks in the classroom. Daniel liaised with the DFE on developing the ECF programme which supports new colleagues. He now works as an integral part of the Inclusion team and focuses on improving the attendance in school.
