Ed Bowman

Ed has been teaching since 2001. He began his career in Calderdale before taking on the role as Head of History at Hanson in 2010. Since then, he has held senior positions within the academy including Faculty Lead for Humanities, Head of Ebacc Subjects, Director of Key Stage Three, Attainment and Progress Lead and Director of Data and Assessment. These diverse range of roles have given him a wide range of experience and relevant skills that he uses everyday in his current role. His main passion is still for his subject of history which he still teaches at all key stages.
