Jonathan Hodson

Assistant Principal

Jonathan began teaching in 1992 in Wakefield as a PE & Maths teacher before taking a role as Lead Teacher of PE in a Middle School in Bradford. He moved to Hanson in 2000 as KS3 Lead in PE before becoming Head of PE for 10 years. Promoted to Assistant Head in 2012 he has held a variety of roles including Intervention & Student Outcomes and Data, Curriculum & Timetabling. He has successfully led the Maths department before taking over as Head of Post 16 in 2020.

Jonathan is very passionate about leading the 6^th Form and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to progress to University.
